What is the Parent & Grandparent Program?

The PGP allows Canadian citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their parents and grandparents for permanent residence in Canada through an annual lottery system

Annual Lottery System
IRCC conducts an annual lottery to select sponsors who can submit applications. Selected sponsors have 60 days to submit complete applications.
